Hey everyone, can I get some info on the food vendors and what they serve? I know the vendors have had their groove for a while, so I don't expect to wait a long time, but I cant really find any info on the cuisine. huh Cheers

Plenty veggie options.........Greek salads, grape leaves, hummus, stir fry, spinach crepes, bean burritos, pizza, indian lentils, indian curries and I'm sure there is more.. That's all I can think of off the top of my head and I'm not even vegetarian so do not pay close attention...LOL

I feel that the food prices are quite reasonable.  A lot of the booths are fund-raisers for local organizations, and even those are well within most everyone's budget.

Definitely reasonable pricing!!! $6 to $9  will get you just about anything and a good portion at that. Throw in the free water ( bring your own reusable container) and you have quite the bargain. I have yet to be disappointed in a meal. Bring healthy snacks to supplement yourself during the long day of festivating.

My first year we brought all kinds of food to save money and have veggie options.  This year I'm not even bringing a cooler.  The options inside are awesome and reasonable.  And free filtered water BTW. Thumbs Up

I consider there to be a general take on things which is a bit of "associative euphoric recall" re: the food ... which generally gets lumped in with the whole experience and is often elevated in some people's minds simply by association (which is fine) & maybe some of it is "great" for that first round, but it becomes tiring for me relatively quickly.   It also adds up re: $$ vs. preparing your own food.  Maybe there's a binge appeal for some & not to begrudge this aspect ... but I personally just can't make a steady diet of the food inside.

I pretty much agree with FaceOnMars.  The vendor food is good and reasonably priced, but we generally do not buy anything from the vendors more than once per day.  There are plenty of nice, inexpensive restaurants in town just a short walk away and we do bring a little food into the festival with us to tied us over.  And we are lucky enough to have a hotel room not far from the festival either.  It is nice to take a break and get out of the sun for an hour or so during the day.  You can usually plan things so you do not have to miss a full set of anyone.  If we were being shuttled in from campgrounds a far, we would not hesitate to buy from the vendors though by Sunday you might be ready for something else.
