My cat and I will be in the midst of moving during TBGF.

Anybody know where I can board my cat from Saturday June 16th until Monday June 25th?  She is updated on all of her shots.

aww, what's kitty's name? Kitty  How old is she, and does she need to be confined indoors since she will be in a strange place? Is she litterbox trained? I have four, and I do petsitting, but since I will be there I can't take her.  I will try to see if some friends who live up there might be able to take her; that way you could visit her.

She is 5 yrs old.  She currently lives with 2 cats and one dog and they all get along fine.  But I am moving (with her) to Honduras right after TBGF, so she needs a place to stay while we are in the transition.  She has been litter box trained since the first day I got her as a baby.

She is very, very friendly and wants to be around people all of the time.  But also doesn't throw a fit if I'm not home.  I try to keep her inside, but she does get out sometimes.  Any connections you have would be helpful.  She is a sweetie.  Her name is Jett.

wow! that's a long way from Telluride!  I hope you and Jett have a good trip to Honduras, and I also hope she won't have to be in quarantine down there for too long. Now you've got me wondering how animals handle going from high elevation to sea level; if it messes with their systems like it does with humans. Going to have to research that.
I sent a text to a friend, will wait for a reply. You can always google petsitters in Telluride too; I'm sure you could find one that way too. But, I will see what I can find for you and Jett.

I googled.  There is only one and they do dogs.

Honduras is actually very mountainous.  I am here right now.  The valley is 3500 ft surrounded by beautiful rainforests in the mountains.

She may have to wait up to 24 hours for a vet to be available to check her in, but there is no quaramtine time at all.  We get in at noon, so I'm thinking she shouldn't have to stay at the airport long at all.

Quote from another thread you posted in:

Do you know anyone who could keep my cat??  I will be in the middle of moving and need a place for her to stay Saturday, June 16-25.

Any vets who board cats?   Or a home that wouldn't mind having her for the week?

She is current on all shots and vaccines.

I'm not sure about cats, but you could try these options:

Deleff Kennels: 970-874-4058 (Delta)
Montrose Veterinary Clinic: 970-249-5469 (Montrose)

I know both of these business have boarding options for dogs, just not sure about the Kitty's

I would think Montrose would board cats since it's a vet clinic. Flower
