Help! I am a virgin and have some questions about lodging

Hey Y'all! I am making the trip from Kentucky, land of bluegrass, with my best friend. I got a Town Park pass through the lottery, but she got Warren. I am trying to trade or sell my Town Park so we can be together. I tried craig's list, but am nervous about it. ALSO, my friend lives in Telluride, and offered us a place to stay. However, it seems that it is going to be difficult to get into Telluride via car to get to her house without some sort of pass. Is this the case? We are flying into Denver and renting a car, so we would need to drive to her place in Telluride on Wednesday the 20th. Any ideas/suggestions/info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Warner Field and Town Park are contiguous.  If you wanted to trade a Town Park for a Warner Field, that might be easier than trading a Warner for a Town Park.  You can perhaps arrange a trade on this Forum and complete it in person when you arrive if mail and email doesn't suit your needs.  

There is also a message board for tickets, trades, friends, etc, right beside the box office tent.  Post a note with your cell #, what you have and what you need, and you might be able to make the trade when you get there.  Take a sharpie and a blank piece of paper and some tape just in case.

Bluegrass Fest shuts down vehicle access to Town starting Thursday morning - maybe Wednesday night.  If your friend in town has off-street parking, you may be able to get to their house and get parked with no problem; but if the only parking is on-street you might have to drive in to town, unload, then park at Mtn Village.  

Do not park on the street anywhere in Telluride without the correct pass or you will be towed.
