First time vendor at RockyGrass.  ATT phone reception is helpful for my card swipe machine.  Is there phone reception during the festival?

AT&T is spotty at best, unless they've installed new towers.
Over the past few years service in the town of Lyons depends a lot on what obstructions are around you.
Planet Bluegrass' WiFi is a closed, password protected network for business reasons so it's doubtful they will let you access through it.
The only way to know is to ask. Flower

Cell reception is on the weak side in Lyons for all carriers, so even if you get it, its going to drain your battery quick if no access to electric.

I'll just throw out an idea for PB and suggest they go the route of several airlines now- charge a few bucks a day for wifi access.  This might allow them to fund opening the bandwith for their wifi setup, and make a few bucks as well. I know some will say that we should be listening and dancing, not playing with our phones.  But it might open up some interesting social networking things at the fests to increase sharing of photos, etc.   Flower
