any idea on the timeframe for a response on whether or not you got accepted as a volunteer? or really any info on volunteering is appreciated.

You should find out by the end of February at the latest, but most likely within the next few weeks.

We already received enough applications on the first day than we need volunteers. Patience and fingers crossed!
