Some more stolen instruments. This is from my favorite New Orleans musicians.
Our 1978 Gibson Les Paul, red sunburst, serial # 72358612, was stolen from our home in New Orleans between Nov. 20 and Nov 30th while we were in Brooklyn for Thanksgiving. The thief who has been identified as Melvin Young offered it to a local 2nd hand record store along with about 45 LP's from our blues record collection, including a signed copy of a Muddy Water's LP.  Young is a light skinned black male, 6 ft, 250 lbs, with an afro, riding a blue honda motorcycle, with AL plate M115172. If you see the motor cycle call 911, if you see the Les Paul please call David and Roselyn 504-949-3001. Thanks.   He has reportedly sold the Gibson to someone named Zack.  If you know of anyone named Zack who has recently purchased a Gibson Les Paul, clue him in that it was very likely stolen.  Musicians should not buy stolen instruments.  It's bad karma.  Love ya, R
