I like to get people talking about and making suggestions for who would be excellent acts for next year's FolksFest. I have been thinking quite bit myself for some out of the box artists who might be a good fit. I saw Jason Mraz live and was completely blown away. I would also love to see some of the new alt folk acts like Mumford and Sons.

So, let the great music suggestions fly! :)

I know Ryan Adams didn't go over too well for a lot of people at TBF a few years ago. But his new solo CD, Ashes and Fire is really good IMHO and a solo acoustic set at Folks would really be badass.

Jason Isbell

Rich Robinson -- his new solo cd is AMAZING (and it would be a good follow up to Chris Robinson playing last year).

Band of Heathens would be most excellent!
