He's been on my wish list for years, but I'd love to see Leon Russell come back. I saw him last night and he was absolutely amazing. His band was just as good. Plus, then we might get Sam, John and Bela to come out and play with him. They did tour and record a live album with him back in '81, after all.

I had suggested Sierra Hull before, and now I'm getting word from folks seeing her tonight that she belongs in Telluride.  Something about having seen her share a stage with Sammy, and how awesome it was.

Beautiful, talented, and can hold her own with the King...yup, we need her.

My wish list is simply having me on the lawn enjoying the simplicity and splendor while spending nights and mornings in the primitive with ya'll.

Missed the last two festivals while serving our under-served youth and hope to paddle my my west to relish in the sound of clean flat-picking, a dobro & mandolin communicating, high-mountain sound & low-country boil, a mid-afternoon reggae set surprise, a house-band showdown, and a Sunday Gospel Set that makes us wonder why...

Cheers
