HI all,

My first post ever on the forum.  I have been reading lots but was taken by this one as I have some memories.  This will be our 3rd TBF coming up.  1998 #1 2001 #2 and now this with Town Park Camping to boot.  YEE HA.  Anyway we biked back and forth to our camp ground every day and night.  Before I knew who Sam Bush was we got to the show and there were signs for Bush for President.  Little did we know at the time, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!!  They voted in the wrong one.   LOL

We have never heard of Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers at the time in 1998.  We heard they were playing one more event that summer at Targee?   We asked to find out what a Targee was.  We had to go to the back stage entrance to find anyone who could guide us.  Little did we know we would follow up to Idaho and that Nick Forster would be listened to every Sunday morning on Etown.  Life has been grand.  Exposure opens lots of doors.

Hope to meet lots of you in the TOwn Park.

Wave  Hi Shinsu!  Welcome aboard.  You will most definitely have some wonderful memories after your TBF experience, ones that will have you smiling for a long time.
Do you know where you are camping/staying?  If you have been lucky enough to get a town park ticket, you will have the most amazing time and I hope you can plan to be there early enough for the few days leading up to the festival so you can take part in all the pre-fest activities.  Even if you are not in town park you can be a part of the pre-fest.
I look forward to meeting you if you make it up to Camp Run a Muck!
Peace,
Cindy Lou

3 chord's and a story that's me

No matter what you wear, where you come from, how you got there or what your job is for 4 beautiful days its all about music and kinship.

The first time I went to Fest, over 20 years ago, I had no ticket. We just jumped in the car and knew this is the place for us to be.

No ticket and I sat by the river, singing with folks I did not know yet and all I knew was this is the place for me.
Next year I will have a ticket.

Kinship runs deep at fest, respect space and share space. All of us creating an experience for one another. Such a rare and beautiful thing. Medal

Crying during the whole Johnny Cash finale. That was one of the best memories for me. When was that?? 2000 ish?? I haven't been since I think 2004, and can't wait!!!!!!  Got a TP pass, and yes... I'm a virgin.
Any advice for this year, I laughed my way through many older posts, thanks everyone!!

The festi-virgin challenge was tons of fun. Right in the middle of Rum Balls. I had to do some unthinkable things to win, but I'd do them again in a heartbeat!
