I have no memories, but hope to make some this summer.  We hope to do the following: drink, drink more, eat, eat more, off road, sing, laugh, hike, get lost in the woods.

See you soon,
Moonbeam (aka: Hooch's sister)

My memories are too great to mention here... but I'd have say that Gillian Welch with Alison Kraus and Emmylou was one of my favorites musical memories.
My favorite campsite memories are just sitting around, playing music, laughing and enjoying the company of all the amazing people that are there.
This will be my first Telluride in 3 years.  I returned in August from Africa where I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer for over two years (the timing of my service just happened to cause me to miss 3 years of Telluride even though I was only gone for about 25 months).  I missed it so much while I was in Africa.  My friends sent me programs with notes and messages, which made me cry.
I can't express how excited I am to get back there.
Can't wait to see you all there!
Kristy

3 chord's and a story that's me

It was 1987 and after a full 4 days and nights of off the charts music I catch the last shuttle to my camp. While I'm on the bus I see these two guys at the back of the bus with big Mexican Ponchos and Sumbreros. Both sleeping sitting up heads down and   :droolaway....

I kept thinking, man those guys look familiar....Turned out they were good friends of mine who we had not seen in years.

We all got off the bus, laughed and started yet another  party.. You just never know who you will run into at Tride. Nothin like 10,000 best friends. Medal

Thank you Telluride Bluegrass Festivarians
Thank you for sleeping in line, tarps out and organized, I loved wandering on fest-days to pop in for visits on your tarp
Fishbone, Run A Muck, Tiki Bars, Wander' In, Totally (semi) lit, Mash and Billy's Arizona Mesa Collaboration
You make festivating so much fun.

2010 Telluride

Soak in a hot spring, drive to camp, Unload the trailer,
set the kitchen and pitch your tent
Sleep with the sounds of water
Hoist the sun shade, enjoy the kitchen, feed your friends
Breath
Walk about to sing along, pickin’ circles
Watch as your friends come in and do the same
Give them a snack or a hand of support
Celebrate coming back together to appreciate amidst life’s chaos
There’s no avoiding talk of oil and catastrophe
But still, there is love
Watch generations share their love and teach the youngin's how to jump a bike or play a uke
More celebrations, gathering of flocks, goddesses on parade
Beer near, tropical punch, rum balls, crunchy frog
Music, music in camp, music in tents, music in circles, music in the air
Wristbands, festival near
Tarp run, set for the day,
Tarp-about to see your friends and listen as people play
Seek shade, sun sets, seek music
Dance, dance, dance – repeat
Four days, music plays
Pack the camp, don’t say goodbye
Dream of the next trip back to Telluride

Strolling around TP with my Mandolin at midnight trying to find my forum pickin buds.... feelin lost like a 2 year old then giving up landing in Warner......

Then all of a sudden,  my friend Dillan grabed my Mandolin,, bursting out in a song/sing along and other camps joined in... very fun.

It felt so good to laugh and sing with folks you barely know.....we are all so different, but really the same underneath.Joy, joy, joy. Flower
