I'm wondering about logistics for the tarp line starting in town park. I know the deal with the line that starts in town, we've been doing that for years.
But this year we'll be camping in town park AND we'll be there on Wed night to nab a spot for Thursday. Specifically, for Wed night/Thurs am - What time should we get in line in order to have some choices? Would midnight be too late? We don't need to be up in front of the stage.
Do they hand out numbers later for Thursday am since the grounds don't open until 10:30?

We usually head out around 3 am for the town line and have always been between 120 and 150 for our numbers. I expect things will be tougher this year, since it's been sold out for months.
Thanks for the info.

You will be fine at midnight if you don't want to be in the front row.  Number handout times are semi random.  Usually around the buttcrack of dawn.  Those Planet Bluegrass folks keep some crazy hours.

The line forms right after the start of the last song of the day or second set, I forget (Wednsday night exception).  There is a sign posted on the fence of the baseball field.  Be sure to be in line around the butt crack of dawn and hold off that morning bathroom break till you get your number.  Also, don't plan to leave an empty chair in line, the seem to find their way out of line, if you know what I mean.
