Well hotdog grab yer pans and lets get this thing goin. My big wedding cake pans came today so tomorrow I will go to my office which has double ovens and bake and garden for the day.
I have to chill the cake overnight to set thefrosting unless you have a fridge, a big fridge I will have to frost at the condo. I can put all my personal food in coolers.
I would love to hang out at Run a Muck and frost and deco but then it would not be a suprise and how would we keep it cold and finger free Flower

Can I get that wagon from Run a Muck to deliver the cake (if the path allows) on Monday ? Does anyone want to deck out the wagon for the cake?
CindyL I will count on you for the forks and small plates as you suggested . Thank you Flower This will be fun .

So I hope to be at Smugglers so we can all square up, but if not  (I might fish along the way, but doubt it) you all have my number.

WOW see you soon Cheers

You can use the Run a Muck wagon for transport and are welcome to decorate the cake in camp.

I'll throw in a few forks and plates but would prefer that people bring their own washable utensils.

The iceing is suppose to set up and chill with the deco in place, it firms up. Do you have a place to cool it over night Jerry in camp?

Thank you for letting me use the wagon Flower A 3 tier 16x16 is not that unstable, now lets see, where is that Duck Tape....

Evening temps are in the low 40s or high 30s, much like the fridge in your house, we can scare up an empty ice chest to keep it from the critters.... two legged ones included  LOL

Jerry we were going to use the plastic forks just for the cake. It will be SOOO much easier for this one event.  Otherwise everyone will want to wash their forks when we are trying to get ready for the oyster feed and it will just be too busy in the kitchen area then.
A slice of cake on a plate with a fork already with it, ready to eat!  Nice and easy.
 Thumbs Up

And hopefully it won't get too hot by 4p.m. or the icing will melt! NOOOOOOOOO

The highest i ever counted at potluck was 160ish when we opened the lines.  i figure that means we hit around 250.  For cake and a wedding, i wouldn't be shocked if you hit 300.

I discovered Wedding Cake Pans are just like luggage. You have the set mise well use them. I think I'm gonna do all 3 layers. I arrive in town on Monday and not sure what time, however me thinks I want to keep this cake a suprise and hidden till the last minute.

I will decorate it at the condo on Monday night if you want to stop by that would be great Lots of fun work goin into this and feel better if the cake sleeps with me. Anyway that drunk Duk Tape man is around and ya never know about that guy. Medal

OK boxes are packed to bring down to the office , I have some great dbl. ovens there.
