We just posted the (almost complete) single-day lineup for the 21st Annual Rocky Mountain Folks Festival.
   http://bluegrass.com/folks/lineup.html

Of course, that also means that single-day tickets ($50) are now available.   Thumbs Up

The single-day lineup includes these final additions:
- Jackson Browne (!!).  One of our true musical heroes, Jackson Browne will be performing a special solo set to close the festival on Sunday night.
- The Civil Wars. The stunning guitar/piano duo mix a Swell Season-esque passion with gritty Americana/folk.
- Missy Higgins. The charming young Aussie star (one of our favorite pop singer-songwriters) returns for her 3rd Folks Fest appearance.
- Mama Kin. The sassy Australian soulstress makes her Planet Bluegrass debut.

Here's the current single-day lineup (as always, artists are listed in reverse order):

Friday, August 19, 2011
Brandi Carlile | Martin Sexton | Sweet Honey in the Rock | Livingston Taylor | Anais Mitchell | Vance Gilbert | Songwriter Showcase

Saturday, August 20, 2011
Bob Weir, Chris Robinson & Jackie Greene | Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band | Red Horse: Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka & Lucy Kaplansky | Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion | Mary Gauthier | Mama Kin | Megan Burtt

Sunday, August 21, 2011
Jackson Browne | Missy Higgins | Carolina Chocolate Drops | The Civil Wars | Dan Mangan | Danielle Ate the Sandwich | and more...

Glad I just happened to hear this from a friend.
It might be nice to send it out on the mailing list in case others don't have time to watch the website.

Redrocks= a hot concret cocktail party that just will not shut up and sit down. Don't even get me started. Folks are not there for the music last I checked. Some chick with a huge butt was back to me the entire set, like she was at a bar, never once turned to listen to the music. Give me the PBG Ranch any flippin day, any line up.
