This is my third year in a row at the fest, and I've never had too much difficulty getting Nightgrass tix, but unfortunately I got completely shut out of all the lottery shows this evening.  I guess demand this year is off the charts, and now I'm a little worried that Yonder will be difficult in the morning.  Any predictions on how difficult it will be to score a ticket to the kick-off party, assuming one goes online at 9am?

This is what it has been in years pass. Hell, my brother was able to score a ticket at the door two years ago.

Possibly a new record, although didn't Emmitt sell out in 14 minutes one year??

Just something I heard...

Glad I got my ticket quick tho.  I'll see you all at the kick off party!!

I bet it is a new record.  I've only missed a couple of kick-off parties, and, for fun, i always monitor the sales.  I couldn't attend last year, so I didn't keep as tight a watch on it, but it's been interesting, for the other years to watch as it has gradually gained popularity.  the first couple of years, it didn't sell out.  then, i think '06 was the first year it sold out, but it was only just before the show.  in '07, I remember it selling out in a couple of weeks.  by '08, it sold out first day--as it did again in '09 (and i'll presume, again, in '10).  but, i don't ever remember it selling out in 1 hour.  and really, it was probably meant to be sold out in 30 minutes, given how many of us dealt with server crashes, etc. in the first 30 minutes this morning.  it's a popular year for TBF--and it should be.  Thumbs Up

Yahtzee, you must be referring to one of the smaller venue shows that ENB sold out.  for those, it would be impossible to establish a record.  before the days of the Yonder sheridan lottery--from at least '05 on, Yonder sells out immediately.  it's only a question of how quickly the server can process the requests, but just based on how quickly people fill the virtual shopping cart and hit purchase and put in CC info, i would say that those tix have been accounted for in under 1 minute since at least '05.

How did Yonder sell out faster than ENB when the Palm holds around 700 and the Conference Center holds at least 1000?

Has to be a record for the YMSB pre-party kickoff. WOW!
