What's the venue like.  Looks tiny and a bit uninviting.  Just trying to decide if it's worth trying for any of the Nightgrass shows there.  Anyone been?

It's little, but it is fun to rage in there. I would not call it "uninviting." The energy is great because everyone is so close, but if you're a dancer and like a ton of room to spreading out, that probably wont happen. Last year I saw Cadillac Sky there -- they were great, but I was so tired from a full day of festy that I sat in the back along the bar. My hubby, however, got what he likes to call "Foot Boot Stomp" Drunk... as you can imagine, it involved a lot of stomping... he didn't even have boots on!  LOL

I can also tell you from experience that it will be nice and warm in there.  If you go then be prepared to shed layers.  It's a fun basement venue but it will be packed for the shows.  I'd suggest checking it out sometime before the show for a drink (or three) and scope it out.

If you have a chance to see NG here...do it.  If you have tickets and decide it's too small for you, please consult with me and I am sure we can work something out. Thumbs Up

Saw Widespread Panic, Phish, and dozens of other fantastic shows there.  Far from uninviting as it's Telluride, we survive on tourist dollars.  Of course you're welcome to be local, just look out for others equal to your-self and presto the groove is on.   Get there early and hold some space, granted it will get tighter.
