Are you saving quarters yet for the showers in the Town Park and Warner Field Bathhouses?

Last year they were up to $3.00 for 5 minutes of HOT water. All the COLD water you can handle for FREE!!!! Trust me, the $3.00 was worth every coin drop!  Thumbs Up

I have a glass filled with quarters on my kitchen counter.

My grandsons tried to nab it and they thought I was crazy when I yelled, "Stay away from my shower quarters!!!!"

On the subject of festi-hygiene.....

I highly recommend getting a Walmart brand package of baby handi-wipes/moist towelettes to "freshen up" with occasionally in between showers.  They work great...especially if you dump in some extra Witch Hazel to add extra cleaning/freshening power.

Great advise! Also advisable to use Hooch's method between high noon and 3 pm. because of it's chilling effect, and of course, because the line for the showers can get long at times. It is always advisable to turn on the hot water tap at the bathroom sink. If the sink cold, well... the showers are freezing cold and you're about to get the biggest wake up call of your life.  Evil

thinktoomuch.. yes, the showers only take quarters. Mind you, START PRACTICING NOW for the five minute shower if you don't do that on a regular basis. I remember the first time I heard "click" and stepped forward to get out of the water, but NOBODY can move fast enough to avoid getting hit by the "snow melt cold" in those showers.

Here's a secret for the men:

There are 2 buildings to shower in.  The one closest to Warner is usually the busiest....*BUT* if you wait until a prime act is about to start, you can go in there and shower quickly usually.  And if the act starts before you're done, the sound in there isn't all that bad!   LOL
