Hey, all! So it's my first year volunteering (VERY excited) and I purchased two four-day high school camping passes for myself and my friend, who I was going to volunteer with. Turns out she just landed an internship for the summer so now I am flying solo with very little clue of what is going on :) I hear Telluride's a great experience on your own, especially for the first time... though I wouldn't mind:

a) knowing if there are any other folks camping at the high school
b) selling my high school camping pass to another solitary volunteer or someone interested in getting together (I'm a lady in my 20's from Northern Colorado... like to think I'm pretty easy to get along with)

I also hear it's not too difficult meeting people once you get there, so I am not too worried... just thought I would put my feelers out there before I sold my ticket back online (which I am under the impression you can do?) Thanks, guys!

Cheers,
- Anna

I volunteered in 2008 and it was awesome, ended just kicking it with a bunch of people I was working with all weekend.

You will have a great time

You may want to post on the Tickets/Exchanges forum, although you may just get slaughtered with responses.

You'll have a great time for sure!  Volunteering seems like it'd be a great way to get to know people if you're flying solo  Flower

If after a day or so you haven't made enough friends, you can always try walking around wearing a bikini made of bacon.   Thumbs Up
