Hihi!
I'm coming all the way from Scotland UK to the TBF and I'm doing it alone!!! So I was wondering if there was anyone that could advise me how to get there from Telluride Airport and what would be the best way to Oregon after that? Any comments or advice would be super appreciated, kinda freaking out! haha. :P

 Wave Hi Gwen!

What day and time does your flight arrive in Telluride?

Are you in a flat or camping, and if camping, which campground? With that info we can proceed much easier. You are truly just a short hike up the road from the festival grounds, Warner Field and Town Park, but considering the high altitude, you don't want to press your luck just after stepping off the plane (of which there are going to many, I'm sure) with even a short hike carrying luggage or camping gear.  LOL

Welcome to... well... ALL OF IT! The States, to Colorado, and to the madness that we all love so much!  Flyer

You'll be fine! Its the adventure that makes it so worthwhile. Many times when one flies into Telluride, they may divert to MONTROSE depending on weather, wind, lightning. (extra hour-hour 1/2 travel time) Not for certain, but if they do, that may include a ride to Tellyride. Check on that. Otherwise, getting to and from the T-Ride airport is fairly easy. There are a few services. Look around the Planet Bluegrass site and search on the forum. You won't regret your experience at TBF!

To get to Telluride from the Telluride Airport all you have to do is head downhill.  Haha.

Don't worry, we get Brits like you every year and they somehow survive the ordeal.

Are you driving to Oregon afterwards?

Careful how you answer...you may end up with a passenger.  Next thing you know, you'll wake up in motel surrounded by empty packages of bacon, an urge to say "Ribbit", and an undeniable taste of pork in your mouth.
