Merlefest booked the Doobie Brothers for the April Festival and now they are getting John Cowan & Friends as well.  I'm thinking that PB just shouldn't get outdone by that young upstart of a festival in North  Carolina.  Doobie Brothers and a Johnny C  appearance at TBF would be mighty sweet!!

 Cheers
Ellen

I've been thinking the same thing, Ellen. If Johnny C is still playing with the Doobie Brothers this summer,  just book the Doobie Brothers. It'd be expensive, I'm sure, but it'd be worth it.

Patrick! If the Doobie Brothers do come, I will make cookies like old times. This time we won't have to bake in the sun and listen to the 8 month old behind us cry, but I promise to bake the cookies if you wear the bandana you got at the Dead. Promise me you won't fall asleep! LOL
EDIT: WOW Hope Lin! We posted exactly w/in a minute of each other! Guess great minds think alike!

I've worn that bandanna every day of Festival since I bought it and we both know it'll still be hot.
