According to their website http://www.mumfordandsons.com/, it appears that Mumford will be playing on Sunday again. It also appears that Sarah Mclachlan and Steve Earle will be playing Sunday. That is, if Brian and Ferg are to be trusted in their hints/announcements (and they've never given us reason to doubt them in the past. Add in the House Band and this i adding up to be a great day at FEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice sniffin around, HS. They definitely implied the House Band would be headlining after Sarah McLachlan somewhere on these boards, though it'd take me a minute to find.

I'm pulling for either Edgar solo or Patty Griffin as the Sunday "gospel" set.

I'd also love to see more Buddy Miller than his supporting role in Band of Joy; he's one of my favorite songwriters and could do a hell of a gospel set if his album Universal United House of Prayer has anything to say about it. Plus, he has a new record out in March.

Just saying.

I'm thinking that Robert Plant will be closing out Thursday night (pure speculation as I have no evidence to back this up). If they stay for the whole festival, I wouldn't be surprised to have Buddy Miller and Patty Griffin doing a workshop together. I'm hoping for a larger role for Darrell Scott. I'd love to see him open the festival again or do another song-writing workshop at the very least.

Don't want you guys to get carried away, SO:  Mumford/Plant on Sunday and Houseband/Sarah/Steve Earle on Thursday.

Fun watching Grammy's last night. Brian and I tried and tried to get Janelle Monet at Telluride. How fun would that be.  Shauna even caught us sneaking into her office to try and send a letter out from her email.

We do have 95% of the artists locked in and, we're now trying to figure out when everyone CAN and SHOULD play, but our single day lineups should be out sooner than usual.

RockyGrass single days are right around the bend.....

They played on Thursday in 2006 and 2007 (I made sure to check this time. Thanks Telluride Tom for having those programs on your website). I didn't start going till 2008, so I'm interested to see if this puts a different vibe on their show.

Well... both the 2006 and 2007 shows were not 2 hours, so they had a different vibe for sure.  Hopefully with a full 2 hours (I assume they are getting a full 2 hours), it will be like the last 3 years.

I think Robert Plant will be a great way to end the FESTIVAL!!!!

Yeah.... What Hope said!

I was kind of bummed about that as well. 2007 just wasn't the same when it comes to closing out the festival without the house band.

I just hope Robert Plant brings the band to hang out the whole weekend. Might be real fun to hear him sing "Whole Lotta Love" with Sam.

I've been thinking about that ever since I heard Raising Sand and thought that Robert Plant would be a brilliant addition to TBF. If nothing else, Sam could still join Band of Joy on stage for Whole Lotta Love.

According to the Punch Brothers website, they're at 2PM on Thursday.  So now we have Punch Brothers, Steve Earle, Sarah McLachlan, and House Band on Thursday...
