We've got 25+ performers for this gig so far!  Yeah!

Elk's Park
Sat. June 18th
10 AM -----   this is a guess, pending some knowledge of the Elk Park Schedule (Heck, we wouldn't want to Flash Mob on the monks' meditation or something!)

For the tarp runners amongst us, you'll probably need to lend your golden sneakers to a less musical member of your festifam :)  For the good of the whole.
Ideally, this beautiful explosion of music will take place before the Sat. music begins within the fest., and if we're well-organized, will only take about 45 min, congregate & execute.

All it needs to do is happen   Thumbs Up  once.

Thumbs Up I love everybody who has given their love and enthusiasm to this dream of mine so far! It's going to be a great time to meet all of you & jam, no matter what.   It's this community that I feel I can go to with my wildest and sweetest dreams, and you pull through!  I know that I will do that for you as well Flower  As long as you'll play Angeline the Baker with me.

Are you accepting questionable vocals with a hint of free spirit?

Now that we have a time and the song downloaded to learn, at least Jo will be there singing.  Looking forward to it!

So exciting!! I'm practicing, but no singing - it's a bit too much like walking and chewing gum... I have to leave it to the professionals.

 Wave

So happy to have so many people signed up already!!  Time for the next strategical step...

someone please tell me what that should be. EEK!
Kidding... It's brewing, it's brewing....

We've got a good handful of vocalists.   Any among you want to lead a vocal 'team'?  Perhaps if you think you're really loud..?....

Otherwise, the best practice you can get is to sneak up on ayone playing 'Angeline...' and jump in & give it yer damdnest!  Because that's all it takes.

Once you arrive in Telluride, familiarize yourself with Elk Park.  There are many directions from which one can amble upon a central playing point in the park.  Choose your favorite, and practice a casual walk around that area.

I will have flyers.   If you are in Town Park, please find me at Plot Jamieson and I will give you some to distribute with me (Lyrics! Chords!) to anyone you see who might join and not ruin.

Oh just see what happens...'once we get to Telluride!'... Keep polishing up Angeline!

Seeing that we have a whole lot of ambitious folks out here, and realizing that we're all likely of varying talents practicing to a different pace in our heads, may I suggest that we decide how fact ATB will be played?  Those who are more experienced and talented will likely be more comfortable playing really fast, but then leaving many of the rest of us behind.  Perhaps someone could suggest a tempo (in metronome time) that represents a comfortable pace for the majority.  Then we can all spend our time from now until Flash Day practicing to the same tempo, and all be in tune and on time when the big event happens.  And can you believe we'll be doing this less than one month from now???? Suggestions?
