Of course you know my opinion about John.

And Dave and Anders of GSBG wanted me to let you know that they would LOVE to be welcomed back to the valley, especially since the 'dusters will be there.  Get Burle and have a Wayward Sons reunion. Medal

Oh the late-night pickin that would be if those guys are all there!

Greensky + Stringduster's: That would be AWESOME!!!!!!

Crooked Still and the Stringduster's are a pretty good match too  Flower

Oooooooooh the Nightgrass possibilities make me tingle with excitement!   EEK! LOL

Me and Dayton nodded heads in agreement with the Rodrigo y Gabriela suggestion  Thumbs Up

Yipee, I've noticed as I go through these posts today that 2 other people besides me have mentioned Red Molly. Hope someone is looking into this hot trio of ladies who bring home some serious music!

Danny Barnes and The Bad livers would be awesome.  I also say GSBG would be an excellent addition.

The folks at the Planet love to tease and we will see trickels of lineup additions as the weeks creep slowly  by.
It makes winter come to a crawl!

Pullin for Johnny C!!!!!!! Medal

If Johnny is still in the Doobie Brothers as their website indicates, they have gigs booked that weekend in CA and NV.  Not trying to rain on anyone's parade and anything is possible at 8000 feet in the San Juans.  Maybe PB will finally bust out the Telluporter that allows touring musicians to be in two places at once?

I had posted previously that I was going to see Johnny C. in Nashville and would get any info possible at that time. BIG BUMMER that the show was canceled due to a snow/ice storm. I (still) know nothing....  Frown

I was listening to Leftovers 1999 New Years Eve show where John sat in with the band for most of the night. I miss hearing that voice. It's only been a year, but his absents was felt.

All very good suggestions.

To add to Leftover, Spring Creek and Crooked Still, I'd love to see: The Steeldrivers, Dailey & Vincent, Greensky, Oakhurst, Head for the Hills, Mountain Standard Time, Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, Missed the Boat ... to name a few. Going to see Head for the Hills tomorrow night at the Aggie!
