gawd, I can promise you that Telluride 2011 will be a truly incredible experience.

But, anyway......

So, last year, our first "official" announcement was "Mumford and Sons".  Their record was coming to the US six months later. Now, they've got a couple grammy nominations.

And their Telluride set didn't suck.

Well, so. So.

Good word actually. So.

So, let's do the same thing this year.

Rock artist from England.

Roots influence.

Grammy nomination.

Except, let's do it the same but opposite.

Not "unknown" artist ; but, well, I think you've heard his name...

Our first announced artist at Telluride this year is......

Oh, this part is kinda fun......

Robert Plant and the Band of Joy..........

uh huh.

Let us learn to appreciate there will be times when the trees will be bare, and look forward to the time when we may pick the fruit.

I checked on a whim... glad I did!

Now... just please bring Stuart Duncan again this year and let him pick a little with them.

Ah, so it begins!  Thanks Craig!  This is so much better news than the junk I was just browsing on CNN!  Who wants bacon?  Anyone?  Anyone??

WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was the group/artist that I most wanted there this year. Does this mean we'll get some Darrell Scott stuff as well?

Thats awesome!

I see that Steve Martin is on the billing for Rockygrass next year.  One can never visit Colorado too many times .. what are the odds of pulling him in for T-ride?

I have to give my wife this CD for a while, but, when she finally gives it back, I am sure there will be another CD I will have to hand over.  I love this.
