Much agreement with the previous accolades for Darrell Scott.  The man can do no wrong.

Its been several years since Mike Marshall was on the bill.  He has a killer Brazilian chorro band that would rock.  Plus its been 15 years since Uncommon Ritual was released (w/ Bela and Edgar).  Booking Mikey would be catnip to B&E.

Harry Manx, a spectacular fingerstyle and hindustani guitar player from Canada.  He has T ride potential dripping off his fretboard.

Stevie Coyle, ex Wayb now a solo act and delighting crowds wherever he goes.  Funny as heck on stage too.

Darol Anger, overdue.

Re-reading this thread, I just want to second a few more...

Crooked Still (love their new album!)
Stuart Duncan, how about Nashville Bluegrass Band?!? (dunno if they still play, but Alan O'Bryant's vocals kill me everytime!)
Darrell Scott & Tim O'Brien (I'd LOVE a live performance of Real Time, albeit a few years late  Flower)
Greensky Bluegrass always rock
How about a Jerry Douglas & Tony Rice set? Oh, wait a minute, how about a Tony Rice, Alison Krauss and Jerry Douglas set, covering solely James Taylor, Paul Simon, Gordon Lightfoot and Joni Mitchell songs?!?  Love I'm allowed to dream, aren't I?

I actually saw them in 2009 at the Gorge (pre-John Cowan's return) and they were really good. Excellent musicianship and air tight transitions.

I saw Nashville Bluegrass Band at the Station Inn right before Christmas last year; they were excellent. Awesome traditional stuff. Some holiday flair. A very fun show since Stuart's family was sitting right next to us. Talk about a bunch of dudes who know exactly what they're doing and having fun along the way!

How about Mary Chapin Carpenter- she is touring again and has been missed!

Please bring back Carolina Chocolate Drops.
