Alash is on tour with the Flecktones to promote their HOLIDAY ALBUM!  LOL So, if you're looking for "Christmas in June" then yes, please invite Alash, but we'll need Jeff Coffin for that mix!  LOL

I should preface this by saying that it's really everyone else (at the Planet, the fans that suggest, etc.) that brings the music that I'm introduced to at TBF, which is almost always more lasting than the music I think I'm going to the festival to hear...

That said, in 2011 I'd love to see (in no real order):

Furthur (Weir/Lesh)
Buddy Miller (with his own set!)
Justin Townes Earle
David Rawlings/Gillian Welch (in some form)
Tony Rice (in any capacity)
Crooked Still (who ALWAYS blows me away)
Railroad Earth (who SOMETIMES blows me away)
Avett Brothers
John Prine
Wilco
Emmylou
Anything involving Stuart Duncan

I'll also note that, though it might seem like riding a high horse, I'm generally disappointed at the negativity toward bands that represent a risk that Planet Bluegrass has taken over the years. Bands like Swell Season, Ryan Adams & the Cardinals, and others represent the breadth of TBF to me and I'm ALWAYS more pleased than disappointed by the risks taken in the planning of this festival -- it's what keeps me coming back, even despite my own disappointment at times.
