So...this is my first time at Folks...

Is it like Telluride where you can pull your car up to somewhere, unload your stuff, and then find parking somewhere around within walking/shuttle distance back to the campground? I didn't buy a vehicle pass, but am wondering if Lyons has places to park in the town for free, just like at the Telluride festival. Can anyone guide me on what to do for parking? I am familiar with the town of Lyons, as I live just down the road in Boulder.

Thank you
Chris

Take it for granted you will NOT find free parking.  Bluegrass Fest provides parking and shuttle that is good, and many townies set up areas near their homes and closer to the festival site where they will charge variable rates around $10 a day or so, but finding free parking in town at places where you won't get ticketed is virtually impossible - used to be possible ten years ago, but not now.

Please do not park in town.

We offer parking, and a shuttle, for <$10 for the weekend.

One of our biggest problems each year is people parking where they are not supposed to be parked, so please utilize the area we have designated for parking.

Just follow the signs after you've unloaded your stuff at the campground, or ask someone to show you the way.

Thanks!

Thank you very much. That arrangement sounds great, and $10 for the entire weekend sound completely reasonable. Thanks again for the help.
