I'm not that smart.  I've seen him half a dozen times in my life and leave each show saying I'll never go back.  I never learn.

His CD library, on the other hand, is in regular rotation in my sterea.  Man's a genious.

As a poet and song writer I admire his short to the point always deep with meaning in just a very few words delivery. 
His voice I must admit, I have just recently have become a fan and very aware of his style and I really do like the whole enchalada... Medal would love to see em live, epic. his songs sound great on the mandolin.
