At 8,750 ft. Above Sea-Level, the entire place is a High Class Festiraunt!  LOL There are vendors on the Festi=field. As far as restaurants from town along the rim of the field, nope, the town isn't built that way. Sorry.

Festivitis:
a condition that lasts through fall and winter directly resulting from lack of festival in one's diet. Side effects include; constantly re-planning next years camp, trolling the sale racks for festitire, chills when looking over pictures, and muscle weakness when one simply utters the word...FESSSTTTIVVVVAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL.......... Cheers

GAH!!!! I've got it!!! Is there a cure that doesn't require me to wait 5 months???

Indeed this is a true statement!  Thumbs Up The Bungled Jungle and all the monsters are incredible we get a set every year . The expressions and laughter they bring are worth every cent.. Everyone loves them...  Plus the mad scientists behind the craziness are two of the most amazing people you will ever meet.  Wave Pat and Suzanne, you guys are the best.  Medal

Festi-Geezer

Faithful vets who keep the spirit alive.  Flower

Would be referred to as a 'frequent flyer' at any other event. Flyer

All of them own a stack of annual Festi-beer cups.  Cheers

Many of these people are the elders of your Festivarian Family. Over time, you may become closer to them than any blood family you've ever known.  You've been warned.  Evil

 To schlep or schlepping:

a process in which any good resourcful festivarian finds him or herself in several times, before, during and after Fest. Trying to be a pack mule and hang things off of every limb.

Festience = maintaining positive outlook, Godly reverence, and patience all year round, with an annual booster in the third weekend of June.  Hey it's the fourth weekend this year, I guess rolling with the changes is also part of having ample festience.  Perhaps it's always been the fourth weekend in June?  Temperance of ignorance must also be part of good even keeled festience.  How come the spell check is having issues w/ festience?  Time to add to dictionary.  Still having trouble w/ it capitalized, I'm leaving that internal dilemma.

Festi-gytis- The laryngitis you end up with after a week or more of too much talking with friends, too much singing, not enough sleep, too much frog and breathing in of cotton wood, smoke and dust........

Not necessarily a bad thing

Bring back the dictionary!! :) Man, I sure am feeling old, thinking about how SEVEN years ago I avoided graduate work with talking to you lovely people on this here forum till all hours of the night! See you soon, my loves.

festi-thargy- the sleepiness/lathargy/daydreaminess during work hours one feels after staying up all night doing one or all of the following:

listening to "packing for Telluride" and crying happy tears
facebooking with a festifriend
actually PACKING for telluride
anticipating the joyous memories to come in Town Park
THINKING about packing for telluride
anything that has to do with planning, preparing, and and anticipating FESTIVALL :)

I wonder if this one already exists . . hehe
