I'm bringing bacon even if it's second best, Thumbs Up so Hooch will show me the secret Foot Slave Hunting hot spots! Cheers  (Can I leave yet?)
Bringing bacon will definitely get you to the front of the Toe Job/Foot Slave line!  There may also be vegetarian Foot Slaves out there but they are not as good.

Sounds really bad,,, so that means it's really good. Go for it...It's a BACON OFF!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers I think peanut butter+  japs + bacon on top would be more than any sane man could stand.....just sayin Flower

If  I brought my folks along I would make it special, have it all set up-shade day home camp packed with all the good stuff. The more comfy and all inclusive the more fun for everyone. Just more crap to carry. I want a red wagon and I'm 50....whats up with that? We know how to have fun... nobody needs to show us no sir Cheers

Looks like it's been said. Make sure everyone has their meds, and drink water as often as they can, the altitude sneaks up on you. You were there. You remember.  Cheers If they seem extra tired it might be 'cause they are.

Every time my in-laws (in their 60's) come up to Flagstaff (we're at 7,000 ft.) from Phx. (3,000) they take several extra naps a day. When my mom visits from Louisiana (sea level) she doesn't seem to need any and she's 84. The higher elevations affect everyone differently so keep an eye on 'em. Suggest everyone wander back to the condo in the afternoon for a siesta to be ready for the fiesta.

I'm bringing my 9 year old  budumdum-joke so I bet we'll see ya in the shade. Or the sun ifen it's a cold one this year!

Good for you for encouraging them.
 Thumbs Up

You could get real close with a colorado (temporary) Disability Sticker.(check with your physician)..and that Town (barrier)Pass Access will not make it easy to park.  You could drop them off real close.
The shade...the water...the nutrition all very important.   The local radio station plays all the music, too.  i listen in the comfort of a beautiful balcony view in the condo...when I get worn out...4 days!  I have to pace.

Have fun!   kge

Beans, apricots and potatoes have more potassium than bananas. FYI- from an nurse.

Yes, I agree 100% with the beans, apricots and potaoes. Add them, as much as possible, to your diet before going up. If you feel like you're 'melting' at any given moment, a banana is a quick fix, like when you're setting up camp.

Thanks for the tip!  Thumbs Up
