As for The Hillbenders, that was Flat Ron or SUR that got the two bands from the competition to do a kinda warm up in front of Wander-In last year. Thinking it was after the brew tasting? That was just too cool and hope he can do that again this year!
And as for EmmyLou, TBF would not be the same without her poppin on stage to help out time and again! Voice that melts hearts like hot piss in a snowbank!
Thought that appropriate since I am up to my butt in that white stuff right now!
Come on June!
And speaking of new, how about new food? Tom and I are working on the appetizers for the brew tasting and will have alot this year! Bacon wrapped brauts are a for sure! Cheers Cheers Cheers

this summer is my folks 40th wedding anniversary.  they took me to my first TBF when i was 10 years old, and every year when im there i call them and my dad acts like ive never called him from there before and they spend about an hour gushing about their great memories from the fest.  so, for their anniversary this year, my brother and i are getting them tickets.

that being said, can i get an alison krauss or an emmylou?? (my parents two favorite musicians in the world)

and for me, a steve martin & SCR?

Oh, man!! I can't wait for Cadillac Sky! They came to Fort Worth last year during Telluride, and although there was no place else I would have rather been, I was a little bummed to have missed them! I CAN"T WAIT!!  :)

hey tride can't wait for another great summer!  this one will be my THIRD!!! (making me quite the vet!! haha.)

yes yes YES!!! LOS is back and Sarah Jarosz' new cd is absolutely incredible.   her small stage set last year with abby washburn was beautiful, and her rockygrass set had the entire crowd silent with awe....

LOVE the carolina chocolate drops.

any thoughts about bringing the Heartless Bastards?  LOVE their new cd, just found out abuot them the other day.  Could be a REALLY cool mix to the fest.

another couple thoughts:  AA Bondy, Hayes Carll, and the Band of Heathens.  All would be really cool additions!

TellurideTom - I met you this year at rockygrass, i recognized you from this board.  i asked if you were the mayor, and you said that you were a "traveling dignitary" haha.

cant wait til the summer!!!!

Q: Does Hot Rize always perform as their alter-ego "Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers" or is that a special show?  I saw them at TBF and loved it.

Dave Rawlings Machine should definitely be on the 2010 bill.  Gillian and Dave with the guys from OCMS is a perfect fit for TBF!  Their new album A friend of a friend is getting alot of play around my house.

See you in Town Park!

Béla, Edgar and Zakir... that may be enough motivation for me to pack up the family and truck them down to TBF.  Great score, Planet Bluegrass!

The voices of Telluride Bluegrass are also the voices of festivarians, many of whom have been finding their way back year after year for twenty or more years. Today, children raised on Telluride Bluegrass return to introduce their own children to the festivarian experience.

The festival is built around the many artists that have defined the Telluride ski resort Bluegrass sound. The weekend is sprinkled with inspired sets from Peter Rowan, John Cowan, Sam Bush Band, Béla Fleck, and many others, culminating in the epic festival closing set from the Telluride House Band.

Del McCoury returns to Telluride to celebrate his 50th year in the music industry. Yonder Mountain String Band celebrates their 11th year; Leftover Salmon celebrates their 20th year as a band - a band that formed in the Town Park campground jams of Telluride Bluegrass. Punch Brothers featuring Chris Thile follow-up last year's "Punch Brothers Play & Sing Bluegrass" with a new set of original music.
