That's right folks, we are having the 4th Annual Happy Ass Ranch Bluegrass and Jam Festival 2009! The date is set for June 26, 27, and 28. Gates open at Noon on Friday 6/26. We have big mix of bands this year,

Grass It Up
Creating A Newsense
The Jack Trades
Haunted Wind Chimes
The Genuines
The Ackerman's
OTC Varmitz
and more,

Tickets are $40 for the weekend and include camping. We suggest you buy tickets at the gate and bring cash. This is a rural concert environment. You'll need supplies for the weekend... I'll check this post regularly to see if questions arise. Thanks.

Directions to Happy Ass Ranch

From Colorado Springs Take Highway 24 west to Lake George Colorado Approximately 34 Miles. Just past Lake George turn left at CR 90. Continue on PAVED ROAD approximately 5.5 miles. Then, turn right at Forest Road 250A (dirt road). Go 2.2 miles, staying to the right and arrive at Happy Ass Ranch. There should be signs marking all the turns from Highway 24. Cell phones don’t work at Happy Ass so make sure you find the place. If you get lost, wait at the corner of High 24 and CR 90 until people wearing tie-dyed shirts arrive and lead the way. Basically, if you know how to get to the 11 Mile Reservoir (not 11 Mile Canyon) then you can get to the ranch. If you arrive at 11 Mile, you have gone too far. Turn around and go back about 3 miles and FR 250A will be on your left. From anywhere else, just follow directions from Lake George.

.. Do you know if Florrisant Fossils are gonna be there this year?  Skip said that he hadn't heard back from them as of yet.   Any updates?

  Thanks

They are not on the schedule. Maybe we'll see Dennis and company at RG. Thanks!
