I was faced with the same dilemma, and in the end I went for Crooked Still.
My reasons were: Greensky seem to be a seriously hot band, and I'm guessing they'll be setting the main stage on fire, so I'm looking forward to that side of their music, but Crooked Still's style is something else and also seems to me that they'd be a whole different affair in a more intimate setting. I think they just might be more enjoyed in a smaller venue like the Fly me to the moon saloon, where you can get up close and personal to their music.
There you go, I just thought I'd add my pinch of salt, but what the heck, I have no idea what will happen and I have extremely limited experience of live bluegrass acts, so don't listen to me!  LOL

ya make a great point lalagay
greensky definitely is a hot band and will for sure be setting the stage on fire and crooked still is awesome too, but in a different way. a way that would be great in a small venue like fly my to moon saloon, especially if the saloon's sound is good. i bet the sound on the mainstage will be amazing though, too... for me, i want to get a chance to see the sheridan, and im pretty sure about heading to cornmeal on fri, so its a tough decision indeed....
mmm... Tapers

I have a question.................
Are the bands listed all that will be there?
Or are there usually late bookings?

Thanks in advance

You're killing me Mr. Mayor.

You know...I think it is in the interest of public safety that you leak some information.  I could get into a car crash, eat something poisenous, and so on if I am too busy thinking about who the late announcement is...

With that being said...I do believe it is the job of the Mayor to keep the public safe.  Therefore, you're going to have to tell us...

i'm interested in secrets!!!
and bsmith, we've seen both greensky and crooked still, and we went for crooked still mostly because greensky was here in albuquerque this past saturday.  i think even if they hadn't been in town, i would have gone for crooked still regardless, just because their sound is so different.  i mean, the bass is really a guy on a cello!  they're a lot of fun.
either way, though, you cannot go wrong.  greensky seriously tore it up on saturday (i could not stop dancing) and crooked still is very tight, and a lot of fun to see.
if only all decisions in life were between such delightful things... Thumbs Up

I haven't been privy to any secret surprises this year, yet.
Only Craig Ferguson (and maybe Dustin) knows what's still to come.
We can only hope and guess. Flower
