The shop is open about 6 days per year,  I never know when... You'd be better off doing it online.

Wooooohooooo  Cheers

So this answers your question UselessJo, if the pastry baking is happening on the wednesday...
So now is when we have to start working on a pastry-strategy: realistically, we would have to do the prep on the tuesday and actually bake on the wednesday so that everything is nice and fresh for breakfast, so I'll pm Mikki (landshark) and see if that suits her, so then I can give you a definite answer as to when the ustensils will be needed...
Now I just have to narrow down the list of recipes !  LOL

And yes, I soooo agree with you BluegrassDustin, I have never set foot in Telluride and I haven't met any of you yet, but I can already feel the love  :hug  all the way over from London, so that's the power of bluegrass for you!  Wink
You sleep on Tuesday morning while I go fishin. We can prep pastry in the mid afternoon (2 ish).. Sound good? Eww it will be cocktail hour,

I'm still confused, I thought I was out of this loop. But yes , I would love to do this. Bring some(50 or 60 LOL) friends and some banjo Wink Would like to see Hope in the mix as well.

Get yer list ready cowgirl we have some bacon(bakin') to do!!

What camp are you staying with LaLa? I want to make Jerry, Karlos, Hope and whomever else are the kitchen duty folks some aprons. Cheers I love PJ parties. Think I will get arrested wearing my pj's walking from my condo to TP??

I'm in the mix down at Camp WanderIn. I would be very happy to do your dishes and drink your beer, if you promise we can get back in time for The Home Brew Tasting.  Thumbs Up

Auntie Hope  :festivarian2 :green

OK so I just thought since you asked to get to know me better, we could just hang, no slavery involved. .. Flower

I don't know what LaLagay has planned to bake, but I'm sure it will be terriffic.
Not sure what the camps serve up for breakfast....

I go on vacation to forget about cooking, however LaLagay is a special treat this year and she brings along with her knowlege of french pastry as well as her charm and dashing good looks and love of bluegrass. Flower..

sounds like a woman I would love to get to know and spend some time with in the kitchen....but not too much time in the kitchen... Cheers Flower Medal

how are yall gonna power an oven in town park......
generator maybe..... i wonder if there is some kind of reduced energy oven made for camping.....
as for being a 'green' campsite, what kind of oven fits the bill? im interested not only because the baking plans sound cool, but because i love learning about new camping gear, and a low energy oven for camping would be an awesome addition to an ever-growing collection
i guess if theres rvs there, that could be a solution, lots of rvs have ovens in them.....

Cobella has a good selection of camping ovens.. I know this camping gear can get addictive...

I just planned a camping trip just so I can use some of my new camping gear...LaLagay and I will just prep the pastry and I think she is gonna use the camp stoves to bake... Flower

awesome
i should be rolling in sometime early thursday and will be looking forward to it...... maybe the afternoon when i get there, but the sparkling wine can stay chilled in the cooler no problem Thumbs Up
and waffles are far superior to pancakes anyway, unless were talking pancakes that are mostly blueberries and just a little batter..... like biting into a sweet thick blueberry pie almost, drenched in warm maple syrup or molasses, ....mmmm...

Tuesday 2ish sounds perfect Mikki  Thumbs Up, and I totally agree with Hope, I don't want to miss homebrew tasting, so from the TP schedule we can squeeze it in between homebrew tasting and Run a Muck bbq, 2 hours should cover it, just as long as I don't overdo it on homebrew  LOL LOL
I'm afraid I'm going to keep the recipes secret till last minute, just to add to the excitement a bit, Also that way you won't know what you're missing dayton  Wink

Im I the only one who is concered about how we actually fit the festival music in amongst the drinking and eating.
Will the artists wait for us if we have a particulaly nice piece of bacon to finish or a nice beer to quwaf before they start their set ?  Cheers

That's why the events are all BEFORE the festival starts. Cheers
All events during the festival are centered around the beer booth so you won't miss any music. Thumbs Up
