Knowing When to Stop
When Might Foruming Be a Problem?

While the following is not a diagnostic test and should not be used as such, many people who have called foruming helplines have answered yes to one or more of the following questions.

 
1.    Do you lose time from work due to foruming?
2.    Is foruming making your home life unhappy?
3.    Is foruming affecting your reputation?
4.    Have you ever felt remorse after foruming?
5.    Do you ever forum to get money to help pay debts or to otherwise solve financial difficulties?
6.    Does foruming cause a decrease in your ambition or efficiency?
7.    After foruming, do you feel you must return as soon as possible and win back your losses?
8.    After a win, do you have a strong urge to return and forum more?
9.    Do you often forum until your last dollar is gone?
10.  Do you ever borrow to finance your foruming?
11.  Have you ever sold any real or personal property to finance foruming?
12.  Are you reluctant to use “foruming” for normal relationships?
13.  Does foruming make you careless of the welfare of your family?
14.  Do you ever forum longer than you had planned?
15.  Do you ever forum to escape worry or trouble?
16.  Have you ever committed or considered committing an illegal act to finance foruming?
17.  Does foruming cause you to have difficulty in sleeping?
18.  Do arguments, disappointments, or frustrations create an urge to forum?
19.  Do you have an urge to celebrate any good fortune by a few hours of foruming?
20.  Have you ever considered self-destruction as a result of your foruming?

It's either post or go outside and work in the garden, so, I'll go outside when I finish here, or not.  Knowing when to stop is a level of awareness that has eluded me lately.  I do need to pile all my stuff so I can forget some essential thing, and do without, but what will it be?  Oh, the computer stays behind, at least then I won't be able to post.
