Don't bring whimpy tent stakes to Telluride!  Get the ones that look like 10" nails with a plastic piece at the top.  And, pack a big hammer.

The Kaptain  Cheers

Yes, I always appreciate a man who packs a big hammer!!!!

A big hammer with a long extension cord!  ooh la la  Okay cross-topics here. Packing for Goddesses walking about in Telluride.

We'll be sneaking into camp under the cover of darkness, sliding silently into your tents and  EEK! EEK! EEK!

I have this image in my head of Hooch running through camp with a lantern yelling, "The British are coming! The British are coming!" giggle

that is all...
A lantern with a lampshade on it?

I'll do it!  Don't think I won't.  Someone has to warn the townsfolk!

Let's see one of by land and two if by sea.
Just don't go running through camp after you sprout that second head It would be very confusing, not to mention just plain scary on soooo many levels. There's not much higher ground to head for in that part of the country.

I'd like to announce that my house is now officially "A Mess".  Piles of stuff everywhere separated by tent stuff/bar stuff/general gear/personal stuff/etc.  I hit the liquor store last night (for the 2nd time) and was actually embarrassed.  I've got a daily count-down list of things I HAVE to do before leaving.  I still need to buy a gas mask and full-face shield to mix Crunchy Frog this weekend.

Happy Trails to everyone leaving this weekend!!!!

I know that embarrassment. I was at the grocery store standing in line when the little old lady behind began to scold me for buying so much booze at that hour of the morning. She just would not stop. It was like being in the twilight zone. even the cashier was getting freaked out  Cheers

Silly little old lady.  Clearly a Festi-virgin.  Maybe we should introduce her to Kim Jong Il.
