so hipchc, you mentioned in another thread how awesome brown chicken brown cow band was, and i must totally agree, they were on fire saturday night at burts tiki lounge!!  both the porter draw (they were the best i've ever seen them), and the saltine ramblers brought their A game, it was a seriously fantastic kick off party.  i think i may have partied a little too hard...
now i'm wondering how i'm going to focus on doing anything constructive for the rest of the week.  all i WANT to do is leisurely pack and do a lot of baking.  is it friday yet?  can i leave and go set up camp and do something to help out?  it's not?  damn.

oh oh!!!  in the meantime, here's a link to some last to know music, because they're really amazing and you should go check them out.  it's just songs to download, but they're really a lot of fun, and i haven't seen any love for them yet.  i cannot find any good pictures of the flying desert brigade, everything on their website really doesn't do them justice, but here it is anyway, in case you haven't had the pleasure.  okay, now i'm going to go be excited elsewhere.      Rollin

The forecast says a high of 81 during the day.  Practically scorching!

Then a low of 38 at night.  Chilly.  Kinda like Telluride.

We're at 7000 feet in Ramah.  Mountain weather.  Better be prepared for anything!
