Sorry Big Al...I guess the little lady will just have to miss the last couple days of school.
If you explain that the family participates at this particular "Cultural Event' on an annual basis it will float. Put reminders on the family calender now to send notes to the teacher(s) during the last semester of school (weekly) giving them a constant heads-up that you will be on top of her end of the year work.
Yup! Been there, done that. It works!
Only wish it had been TBF for us when my kids were growing up!
