LOST:  One black Patagonia fleece jacket - wemon's size medium ...(lost in the festival on Sunday night), please let me know if you have found it (third fleece lost in 3 years - third times a charm???)

FOUND:  One digital camera... a Cannon powershot A540, found at the Tiki Bar, pictures to come...

Hello,

I am pretty sure that the cannon poweshot camera that you found is mine.  I camp with the Steamboat camp and had it out with me late night during the beginning of the festival.  I can describe the camera which should have been in a soft grey cannon case with an extra memory card in the front pocket and also some on the pictures on it (Drew Emmit at State Bridge etc....)  Please let me know if this is the right one.   I hung a sign at the main bathrooms in town park but never heard anything.  Thank you sooooo much.  Please email me at keishaamber@yahoo.com or www.myspace.com/keishaamber

things got a little silly after sam bush, my friends were convinced I went to sleep with my lost shirt, but it is nowhere to be found with my stuff...

it's a long sleeved minty green 2008 telluride shirt, size medium, and on the front there's 4 signatures, including Bela, Billy and Chris E. ...

I wore it around with all kinds of pride, hopefully not too much to never see it again.

It should be in Mary Illium... or maybe it was left behind at the show.. I may never know. Please let mek now if you have seen it, I'd like to solve this party-mystery

I am missing a green metal Gaiam water bottle.  If any one found it, please let me know.  It was lost in the festival on Saturday night.
Thanks.

We lost a pair of metal, clip-on sunglasses. They probably got crushed under a stampede of happy bare feet, but if not, we'd love to get them back! Thanks.

I seem to have lost some brain cells somewhere in Town Park, around
4:20 a.m.   Abduct: If found, please put in a jar of hooch so they will be properly pickled to match the rest of the few still bouncing around, until such time that they can be safely re-united with the others.  Devil

This is what I found out about that.
Brain cells do not quickly grow back when they are damaged, although the brain finds other ways of doing the same job and may make a partial recovery.
The team at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York took rat stem cells from the cortex and injected them into the brains of both normal adult rats and those damaged by stroke. (I know some adult rats)
Brain neurons

The cells were marked with a chemical which glows under the microscope, allowing their progress to be tracked.  Abduct

Within a week, the cells were growing in both healthy and damaged brains and within three to six weeks, all had become fully mature brain neurons, making connections with other brain cells.  Talk

However, the experiment did point out some hurdles to the use of stem cells in stroke patients.  :green

When implanted into areas heavily damaged by stroke, the cells were reluctant to grow, perhaps because the area was clogged with scar tissue and fluid-filled cavities.  Drunk.

They did, however, grow well in areas not so severely damaged.  strong

Professor Daniel Rosenbaum, who headed the study, said: "We were not sure the transplanted cells would even survive.

"The ultimate goal is to take an adult's own cells, expand them in tissue culture in the laboratory, and transplant them back into the individual's brain in a way that would lead to functional recovery."

Sounds like pickled in hooch to me LOL LOL Rolleyes

Hi there! I lost a pair of prescription glasses...wire frames, low power (-.75). Frames are by Takumi...
Please let me know if ya have seen 'em around!

Just so everyone knows...

The truck should be arriving here this evening with the unclaimed lost and found items. I will get a chance to look through said items on Monday.

If you lost something, post in this thread and I'll take a gander for it on Monday.

Cheers
