In recent years, much more so. Because there's so many campers packed in, and the parking lot is still used as a drive lane, they don't have room for anything over 30'. All of the campers will be backed into spots along the river side, VERY TIGHT, so any large units will stick out and block the drive lane. They used to fit the larger trailers on the other side, parked lengthwise, but that spot has either been taken up by two smaller units, or just one if they want to preserve the parking spaces for the tent campers. I'd call and check if you're over 29-30'. They may be cool with one over-size if they can plan for it and save a spot.
With the car, you'll be able to park it for free right above the RV lot, but you'll need to unhook before you drive down to park. Depending on when you arrive, there may not be any room to back in or turn around if your trailer is large. Take a look at the overhead of the lot in Google earth, and imagine 20'+ campers parked on one side, and cars unloading gear parked on the other. The volunteers are really helpful getting you backed in, but there's only so much room, and cars are constantly driving in and out.
This image is from 2 years ago I think. I'm the white trailer between the pop-up and the brown RV. I'm 22', and you can see some 26'-28' +/- over to the left for a reference.
