In the grand scheme of things, the water is needed ... and it sure beats having a bowel resection!

I'd take a good day of high skiing! Be better than what we've had goin on the last 3 days.

Purgatory is open this Saturday and Sunday. Pass holders for this season and for next can use their passes. Lift tix are $29. One lift will be open. I skied there on May 4th and it was still really great.  It's been dumping up there. The big bike race is this weekend too but it should be about over by the time the lift opens at 11. 11-5 are the hours, and if the weather cooperates they will also have their summer activities going starting this weekend.   www.purgatoryresort.com

Forget about everything else

Came back from Durango yesterday to well over a foot in Ophir.  My neighbors had skinned up and got in a run.

Ironically, I had my snow tires swapped out ... and was getting concerned while reading twitter feeds of Lizard Head and other road closures while waiting at tire place, but snow melted pretty quick on the roads.

huh When will it end?!?????  This is definitely NOT helping with my seasonal affective disorder!

It is going to clear soon and our summer will start. Sending you lots of sunshine from Australia. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

FOM-

How is the river flowing? I’m curious how high it will get as temperature and sun angle increase. Have you seen the river handle a snowpack like this?
