TP Pre-Fest Shenanigans

That time sounds correct for Amen Ramen, I'll double check with Hulagan69 (Bridger) but 6:00pm start time for community building collab-bowl-ration/feastivation by the waterfall is good with us.

P.S.- I'll bring 8-10 cases of bombers for libations for both Sunday Ramen and Tuesday beer bottle share. Probably darker, chewier styles that age better but guaranteed something you've never had. ToddG - the beer share time seems to not be set yet, I'll keep an eye on that time.

Paul, it looks like the morning drinking start time of 11:59am will remain the Beer start time at the waterfall. With so many other events happening that afternoon and evening, it is probably best to keep the early start time. And it would be a damn shame if we weren't drinking beer before noon.

Thanks for the update Todd...and well, "you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning". HulaGanz will have  our part covered and ready to go by 11:59am. I don't think the TP camp host will have ice for sale yet but we can make a run to town to keep guest bottle share beer cold.

Agreed.  Very generous of them!

Also, we're working out detail of the extent of their involvement.  I'm assuming we're pretty flexible at this point, right?  Maybe they have their own dedicated table with a rep and schwag?  Maybe they just have me pick up the burrz from their truck.  Or something in between.  Any preferences or thoughts?

Yes I think so, Todd do have any thoughts? I want to say their keg beer comes in on Monday morning so their festival brew crew will be on site then. Avery will be coming off their Anniversary party the week before too. I would expect them to maybe do a outdoor beer fest set-up: logo-ed canopy, a table with logo-ed skirt, bus tubs with ice for packaged beer and of course Avery swag! I've seen them do 8-1/2x11 laminated cards with info on the specific beer. I think it would be cool if they could provide a beertender to pour their samples.

I don't think they have to have Adam Avery pour himself like at Big Beers Festival

I'm feeling them out on how they want to do it so this is helpful.  It's nice enough that they're providing the beer so I don't want to put them out by having a bunch of requirements in place.  Honestly, I think I'll leave it up to however they want to do it. 

Just wanted to be sure that if they decided to go all out and do a traditional beer fest style 'booth' that we wouldn't feel like it's over the top.

I think anything they are willing to do would be very cool, especially since currently they are the official beer sponsor of TBF.
What about trying to have enough tables to separate beers loosely by style. Like: 1. IPA, Pale Ale, and the various hop heavy ales popular with the kids these days including Red Ales  2. Stouts, and stouts, and Porters 3. Pilsner, Wits, Heffeweisen, and your more German purists style beers 4. Sours of any style, including Gose 5. Big Ales, Barleywines, Quads, Doubles, Triples, and non sour Belgium ales.

 I love beer and beer events, especially grass roots, home grown beer events, that treat homebrew with as much respect as good brewery selections. I know some of the best beers I've ever had came from my local homebrewers association, and I think thats the same way everywhere. So my only issue with Avery would be that they look at it as joining our fun and not creating our fun.

No matter what I'm hoping everyone from Avery who will be there joins in and experiences the best camping beer share in the world. Prove me wrong.

When I look at it in my google calendar, it puts everything in CST I was a bit confused for 4.20 seconds. Excellent job, i guess if I download it once I get up to heaven it will be right on time.

RaM is still working on their schedule but you can add later.

One thing that may be helpful IMHO, but I'm old and can't see, is to color code the different stages, especially when you drop in Elks. Just so it pops for us geezers!

Oh and thanks again for that info    ... I love that battery bank! Solid little thing, not sure how I've made it through without one.

The official RaM shenanigans schedule should be ready for public consumption soon and will add it to the calendar.  I'm having a highly top secret call with Hippie Jerry tonight.  I shouldn't even be telling you that.  Also, RaM had nothing to do with Russia helping us to get our program together!  NOTHING!!

Also...Paul S, I'll be bringing local beer samples for Tuesday's tasting!

Comrade Hoochie-san...looking forward to sharing a brew with you at pre-fest Tuesday at bottle share...but Montucky Cold Snacks isn't really a local beer to the Western Slope...just so you know. 

I'm struggling what to bring myself...aluminum is so much more festi-user-eco-friendly. Suggestions?
