I agree Todd. Some of Avery's Barrel Aged program stuff is truly interesting and difficult to get outside Colorado. Packaged in 12oz bottles, can be pricey but compelling flavor notes that makes for good tasters.

I don't know if there staff will be available but would be nice invite them anyway. Their three refrigerated semis arrive on pre-fest Monday typically when certain festival vendors & show production load in that morning. Coincidentally, port-a-lets are delivered that day as well....hmmm...is there a correlation, perhaps??  LOL

Cheers, I'm getting thirsty!
 Cheers

Paul

Great news!  The good folks from Avery will be donating a mix of some rarer stuff: gold foils, Botanicals & Barrels, big IPAs, etc.  Still working out the details but was excited to share!

Very nice indeed. Incredible job. I can't wait to see what all breweries and styles are represented!

How much beer should I bring to have it included in the tasting event?

All of it! Bring however much you like. I think I'm bringing around 15 bottles and cans of various sizes. I'd say 5-6 bottles is about the average.

Excuse me??
What can I say, my weirdo kid found a video of turtles making some sweet love, and well who would have guessed it but they make a very comforting sound. My son whom I lovingly refer to as "the kid" likes reproducing the sound to create tension in the room, you know how teenagers are.

Hey folks. So close now! We leave in 3 days. Trying to round up all the last minute items. And get all those beers safely packed.
We've talked about this before, but would anyone be interested in orchestrating some food for the beer share? I'm planning on bringing a few bowls with some pretzels or some pub type snacks.

Maybe if someone is coming from Ilium, Lawson or Condo's you could pick up some veggie snacks, or some chips and dip etc...

 Wave ToddG-

We roll Friday out from Pikes Peak country. We will refuel in Montrose and pick up beer-share snacky snacks, but will hold off on the Slim Jims and pickled eggs  LOL.

 Cheers
Paul
