Hello Festivarians!
We've been looking forward to Rocky Grass for months and so excited its just around the corner.  I am a newbie to Rocky Grass but not to festivals and have camped in Telluride for the Bluegrass festival and Lyons for Folks fest.  How would you compare Rocky Grass to the Bluegrass Festival and Folks Festival?
See you all soon!!!  Cheers  Flower

Hi!  Rockygrass is like a small Telluride.  A lot of the same folks, so you'll probably know a lot of faces in the crowd.  It's more of a sit-down festival, so standing for sets is relegated to the dance pit off to the right.  In on-site camping there is a LOT more picking/jams going on than Telluride, which is very cool.  Trust me, you'll enjoy it!  See you there  Thumbs Up

Rockygrass is MUCH hotter than TBF. Bring stuff to keep you cool. Plus there is the creek so bring a bathing suit, tube, water shoes.
It is a beautiful venue and wonderful people.

Awesome Hooch!  I am soo happy to hear that about the picking sessions!  And of course familiar faces. Festivarian
Aztoma, thank you for the water shoe reminder.  I will certainly be plopped in the water to keep cool.  Sunshine

See ya there!
