Hi Folks, I’m sitting here with serious FOMO...I tried hard to get tickets to this festival
And still it seems now  people are haggling and crazy looking for tickets!  Last several years I attended (from VA) there were plenty of tickets to be bought, in fact, the resale on the website of PBG happened several times. What is so different about this one? I’m cursing myself for not purchasing in time last year.
Boy you must be a real planner to attend this festival.  I started looking for rentals in November, and I found that it was too late then.  There were only slim pickings left, and holy moly, so expensive!!
Please share with me, and make me understand the whys. Meanwhile, I will be
Sitting at home here in VA, listening to KOTO every minute of the Festival. I will be with you all in spirit, you Lucky ones...who always seem to snatch a place in town park to camp, or at your condos etc...Lucky you, I wish you all a beautiful time!
Wish I could have made it this year-but the Stars didn’t Aline for me.  Well, I have more money in my pocket to see other shows out there...in fact, Ive planned that well.

This is my 10th Telluride, and I agree- this year it all seemed harder. I always set my alarm and buy 4 day pass when it goes on sale- but was tryyto find one for my friend, and basically had to watch the forum every 20 min to find a seller. In years past the resale was easy. Also this year- of 10 friends- no one got the nightgrass lottery except for 1 person!
That being said, it’s probably one of the best live ups I’ve seen in years. Just Greensky and Sturgill alone sell out 10k capacity red rocks for 2 days, so their fans are here in force (me too).
Our crew started looking in October for condo and found the pickings slim. You basically have to plan a full year in advance. We used to book the same ghousehouse every year and put deposit down for next each year- but the lady sold it and now it rents for double!
Mountain Village is more affordable.
Better luck next year- make it a priority every year and you will be so joyful!

For whatever reason, anniversary years are always more popular...and folks seem to be pretty stoked on this year's lineup.

With the Live From Here episode being broadcast to millions of people, I don't expect we'll ever again see the days when you could wait until the festival is 4-6 months out to plan your trip.  I really enjoyed that set, but I don't think the increased exposure will make being there any easier!

Yeah Dustin, this year's lineup was incredible. And I agree with Bevin, I don't see interest waning in the coming years.
