This slow packing is driving Me nuts, can't leave until Monday morning, have a family reunion Saturday , then have to work sat. and sun. night. I'll catch a quick nap and leave noonish Monday. Try to get there Tuesday afternoon, its a long way from the Cajun coast of Louisiana to Mary E. Bringing enough boudin and jambalaya for my closest neighbors. Looks like a fellow named Bud will hopefully put out the fires. Gonna bring flyrod in case the the river is fishable.
Lookin at the projected forecast the river will be slow and easy, cooler and some light rain. Beautiful! And I am so tired from work, just finished but have to cut Payroll n Sat. before I go. Time to breath and start to really focus on my trip. That Bus thing, sounded pretty good. Leave at midnight and arrive in the morning. Always such a push to get on the road. Feelin beat up man.
