I received a message that Cayton Campground is closed until July 2 due to wildfire. Our reservations was cancelled.   Any suggestions of where to stay in a 36 foot RV?  We are driving from CT to pick up family at Denver airport on Wednesday then driving down to Telluride Wednesday evening. Thoughts?  We are leaving tomorrow morning. THANK YOU FESTIE FAMILY!

Thinking of those 8 tickets.  Wonder if selling is the best bet and then hanging out north of Denver for a few days.

You don't want to miss this festival!!  But...with campground closures there will be a large influx of other RVs moving to new locations.  Good luck finding a Plan B!!

I just heard about this new website called hipcamp.com it's like an airbnb for tents and RV's
It looks like some people near Telluride have some private land where you can park your RV
good luck Wave

Do a google search for the "Schmid Ranch" near Telluride and see if they will allow camping there. It's about 11 miles down valley from Telluride, but that would be closer than Cayton.
I camped there with a group last week for a couple days.
Good luck.

We are in the same situation!! Only looking to camp Sat/Sun nights with 33ft RV. Did you have any luck? I don't want to have to bail on the festival!
