Oh crikey, I’m already here with none of that stuff. Looks like a shopping thing ahead

Thanks!

Lesley, I've quite literally got you "covered" in terms of a rain jacket.  Just make sure you've got some decent shoes - much harder to loan you those...

Or, we'll do a little shopping trip one day when we're hiking the Bottleworks Trail into town.

The last few years the Camp Host has had quarters for sale (at cost). But it is always a safe bet to bring your own.  Thumbs Up

If it's warm enough, the price of entry to the pool includes a shower token!

Also, the visitors center at the north end of the pools showers sells said tokens, though I haven't purchased them myself.

Waterfall showers are still free, no quarters needed.

Camp HulaGanz will have a defibrillator in camp if needed  Wink

True as long as you're not 'bathing yourself'.  Where that line is drawn is a good question Wink

I believe it's $3 worth, 12, if they have not raised the price since last year.  Cheers

12 coins for a shower! That’s kind of insane, does that mean people bring almost 200 quarters to festival?

Remind me to show you the dear little chunky Australian $2 coins one day....people of the USA, it’s time for change. ( you see what I did there, very good Lesley, quite funny)

Talking of showers is it going to rain, like a lot? That weather forecast is worrying me. And I don’t have gum boots or anything that makes sense in a storm really.

Though I guess torrential rain will reduce the need for quarters!

Not too many days away now, hurrah, ☀️

Goodness Lesley, 200 quarters? How many showers you taking? My first year I brought 2 rolls of quarters (that's $10 each roll Wink), and I was so concerned I'd run out that when I got home I still had 2 rolls! I think I took a shower that year, but I don't remember where.  EEK! :hooch

It looks like you may miss the greatest chance of rain on Saturday. I wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as you have some type of rain jacket. If that hurricane pumps in a lot you can get something in town.

I like smelling nice but I think I’m good, I have offers of showers from some of my condo ing buddies here.

Good god I’m getting so excited. Almost time to hit the road.

I’m singing pretty much every song from Greensky and counting the hours until I see Paul Hoffman.

I mean until I see Festivarians.

Ha!

Hmmm Lucas...Dave was not "au natural" and used no soap so Bear Creek downstreamers were safe...he did however have trouble keeping his loofah from freezing, until he cornered that marmot  Wink

 Cheers

P.S. ~ nice selection of Avery gold foils for the Tuesday beer share...I may have to up my game and do a vertical series of Natty Lite  :)

Bevin, I bought a $2 rain poncho today just in case. I’m counting on your jacket.

So when you say shoes do you mean I need something other than thongs or sneakers? Do I buy gum boots or something else?

I am so excited. Slightly terrified about camping for the first time in my life but I cannot wait to hang out with my Duk Tape family and the vaguely  scary Run A Muk Crunchy Frog mob.

Festival excitement and reunions await
