Hello from Washington DC where I landed last night. So nice to be in your country at last and how cool is this, Alison Kraus is playing in VA while I’m here so yes, the festival gods are smiling.

I have what might sound the stupidest question but I do have time to fix it. I’m here for work and therefore dragging around a wheelie bag full of suitable business clothes before I head to debauchery ( oops I mean the wholesome fun) of Town Park.

I’m heading in via shuttle from Montrose.

This is my stupid question. Do I drag in my wheelie bag through Town Park looking for the Duk Tapers or should I buy a back pack and transfer my Telluride stuff there. I have some friends renting a room in town so can probably leave my wheelie bag with them before I wander into camp but conscious it will be a hassle.

Can I successfully wheel a suitcase on wheels through TP? Or should I swap over?

Sorry - I seem to have been obsessed with luggage for days. It is very tricky planning a trip overseas that covers work stuff plus fun stuff

Any advice from veterans gratefully received. See y’all soon!

Ps did I mention how nice it is to be back in summer?

I am no expert on TP but I do remember wagons so I think as long as you stick to the road your ok but camping is tight so rolling it between tents could be almost impossible. All Terrain Luggage?

Hey Lesley! I use my regular, wheeled suitcase every year without issue. You’ll be fine, and someone is always around to help haul bags through the tricky points. Save your $ for a souvenir inside the fest.

Skubes is right on girl! I've seen many of those wheelie bags being dragged around. Besides, your coming home, you'll have loads of your family offering to help! And what do you mean, "looking for the Duk Tapers"? You know where we are, you know where Skubes and RaM is!

I hear you came across the pond with just a carry on ... very impressive! Hopefully you're stoked with your new digs for the week. I know camping isn't your thing, but your going to have a blast! You may never go back to a condo!!  Wink

I’m counting on you guys to get me through the camping experience. I know I’m going to love being there ( but I have to admit that it was a great relief to crash into a lovely bed last night after nearly 24 hours of flying to get to DC.  Ps I know where Duk Tape lives, am so excited to be joining camp 💙💚
