Any fans of Dread Clampitt here?  I live in CO, but found these guys on MySpace and LOVED them!  I am going to a wedding down in Tampa in July and flying in to Destin just to see their show on the 10th before the wedding.  I am psyched!

I happen to be listening to them as I read your post.  Looking forward to seeing them at magfest, where I usually catch them.

Dread Clampitt came to Telluride a few years ago for the band contest. They are regularly in the lineup at a small festival that is held over Memorial Day. Sam Bush, Tony Rice, Peter Rowan, The Waybacks have all played that festival in the last few years. Always there one or two names that we know well.  See http://theacousticcafe.com/  for more information and pictures. Mark in Alabama has attended.

Dread Clampitt regularly plays at Springfest and Magfest in NW Florida also.  www.magfest.com
Mr & Mrs Dread Clampitt and their two boys attended their first TBF as a family this year and were members of team tapers.  good times.

See them a few times a year between Springfest, MagFest and as LuAnna mentioned, the accoustic cafe.  They are a lot of fun!

I am just too excited now, only two days away.  This is part of my big vacation this year that ends with RockyGrass Acadamy and the fest - so I just want to go right now....

Thanks for all the info -  Cheers

The show last Thursday was awesome - it was their electric show - but we got to hear some great picking.  We had such a fun time - definitely a must see for anyone who has the chance.
