Hey there! Fifth time to festival, first time camping... Pretty pumped!

I have a couple Town Park camping passes, but am curious about the vehicle pass... I currently do not have one. I do, however, have a sweet rooftop tent that I would love to use to camp... I'm finding confusing info all over the web. Are cars allowed in Town Park with a Vehicle Pass? If so, how hard is it to get one of these passes? If I don't score a Vehicle Pass, is there somewhere free to park my truck?

Thanks in advance! Mahalo

Parking is free to all campers, and depending on when you arrive you can either be parked along the road outside of Town Park, at the edge of town at "Car Henge", or in Mountain Village.

Town Park vehicle passes are meant for those that are "camping in their vehicle" whether it be a van, camper, rooftop tent, or tow behind trailer (where the vehicle has to be relocated). If it has a license plate it needs a pass.

Vehicle passes are extremely hard to come by. To give you an example, out of the 1200 camping passes sold for Town Park and Warner Field there are only 30 vehicle passes.

Those of us that have been in Town Park for years try to make sure that people that truly need them, for medical, age, or small children, are the ones that get them first if there are any for sale. If you're a fully capable adult that just wants one for personal comfort we ask you to sell it to a person in need.

You won't need your vehicle one you get there. You will be able to drive into Town Park to unload your vehicle, then park it in one of the designated areas a state Tom mentioned. So hopefully you have other tents that yiu can use. Great ready for the time of your life! Rest up before you get to Telluride, as you won't be sleeping much after you arrive! Pirate
